Well.. there is sooome people who care about the ads... but thats why theres a thred. (genous i thought, haveing a designated place as not to cluter the whole form) But I will tell you, if you are so pashionate about this, why not take it up with some one who can do something about it insted of posting in something you hate. lol!

BBS

Works fine for me. Rules seem logical enough too. Dont self-advertise, search for a topic before posting...dont really understand the problem.

lol I dont think so, I just think it kills you o.o

Yeah...

Aldactone (aka Spirolactone) brings down the androgen levels (specifically targets aldosterone) in the body... but it also does a lot of other things in the body. Alcohol directly increases the side effects of the medication, especially the more serious ones (like knocking your heart out of rhythm)

Estradiol (a form of estrogen) does obvious things for HRT... but because of it... I'm not supposed to smoke lol. (Smoking can increase the chance of potentially fatal blood clots while on HRT) Mind you... I think that is specifically targeting tobacco... but I'm scaling back all of my fun chemical usage now, at least for a while.

It would appear so because as responded to before, the point of the audio ads is not to conserve server space. The main reason is that: Would you prefer one thread with hundreds of pages? Or hundreds of threads with one page? Which sounds better to you?

The Main Thing is to keep the Main, Thing the Main Thing.

Can vary a lot. I've got insurance... so the medication itself only costs about $15 a month. However, that is the prerequisite of a minimum of three months of therapy and a visit to the endocrinologist, which costs substantially more.

Eh, that part is. I'm paying $200/month for two years to cover laser hair removal on my face and neck, and when it's time for surgery, that'll probably be about 30 grand. I'm just glad that insurance covers at least part of it.

awesome
If you integrate or differentiate an audio signal you get a low pass filter or a high pass filter respectively
I wonder what happens if you square it... or raise e to it... or divide 1 by it.. or take the factorial of it

I know a rectifier works by taking the absolute value of an audio signal, and that a digital low pass filter averages it... anyone know of plugins/programs that let you do math to audio signals? I sure would like a differentiating guitar pedal

Somebody Buy Me A New Guitar

Seriously... I'm getting tired of trying to learn solos to find out I need 22+ frets... My 6 string only has 21 frets. And shifting a section of the solo down an octave is just awkward.

Correct, although that will most likely not be for another year and a half or so. I've been gradually moving through the social minefield of telling people, and will probably start living full time outside of work in a few months. There is the prerequisite of being completely full-time before getting the necessary letters for surgery.

In other news though...

Yay for new toys! Just bought a Numark NS6 today, I'm uber excited. Plus, Stutter Edit was on sale for $99... so I picked that up as well. :D

And after several hours of frustration... running around the house looking for stuff and looking up various things on the interwebz...

Here's the breakdown:

Torq is being run as a slave via ReWire into FL Studio. Torq runs all of the audio mixing and such. The NS6 controls that, and the Korg Nano Kontrol allows me to make use of additional effects inside of it. From there, all of the audio gets routed through FL Studio.

FL runs additional effect processing, but also allows me to choose how I route my master and cue audio. The cue channels run audio directly back to my headphones and also allow me to route mic audio in if I'd like. The master channel gets run through an additional effect loop (Running Stutter Edit and probably going to play with a couple others here)... and then the audio gets routed through a limiter before getting routed back out the NS6 and off to the speakers.

Oh yeah, almost forgot to talk about the mic. I'll probably invest in some sort of headset soon that has a mic built in... because I'm able to route my mic through effects as well... (Autotune, filters, compressors, etc)... which then also can be routed through the main effect loop.

Basically it's a big monstrous pile of live audio badassery. And yeah, if I get bored I can switch channels and use the keytar to run live synth lines instead of controlling Stutter Edit with it. ;D

I was just wondering, how do you orgnise your paterns in your DAW program? I usaly just do it in 8 bars, I find that its easer to mix.

Whatever sounds fine, I try not to have a system since i found it made all of my songs sound the same.

What you said could mean two things, but either way they 100% dont matter. Also nothing about them have anything to do with mixing either.

Basically this. Composition/writing =/= to mixing. Completely unrelated.
