Who's side of the family would you all say that you are closer with, your mothers, fathers, or neither?
I'm definitely closer with my mothers side.

moms tend to pull their family along with them, but id rather spend a day with my dads side then my moms, even thow she throws them at me.
My mom's side, for various reasons. One being we live a lot closer together, which makes things much easier.
Me, probably my mothers. but thats only because she has a humungous family and they live quite close by, my dad only has the one brother (although he is one of my favourite relatives)

It's prretty wierd that on my mother's side is purely of aunts, my mother has no brothers so the only real uncles that I have are on my father's side, they're pretty kewl but my aunts Rock.

I know what you mean. I'm not a big fan of everyone on my dad's side either.
Umm... I don't know my real dad's side that well.. I loathe me stepdad's side.. my mum's side is alrite...

By the way, you said you live in Brooklyn, Dontask? I live there, too. Park Slope, to be exact...I don't like this neighboorhood very much.

I'm in Flatbush. Not a bad area but I really want to move elswhere on my own, not sure which borough.
i dont live with my dad so i would have to say my mother. :)
I'm close with both sides of my family, but different parts of different sides. It's mostly just a matter of distance. We're all very very close as a family. Distance is the only thing that can keep us apart.

my mom and dad got divorced and i live with my mom. i havent seen my dad around 4 years, but when we have a lot more in commin, i lve with my mom but we fight every day so i dont know the answer.
my mothers side, my pappy lives on the other half of the u.s.
It's funny cause i see my mothers side of the family amore, but she lives in Cornwall ( other side of the country ), my dads side dont contact us, as he's adopted.
My father died of cancer four years ago...I haven't got much choice. Closer to my mom.
