Cant hear this enough
REVIEW IS LATE yeah...
Still since i first heard it, the song hasnt lost its original appeal for me.
I dunno really what to think of the sound effects that seem to be thrown in all over.... The melody lines are good and I like the drums except The kick is a lil weak in my opinion. And thanks again for voting on my junk!
I like that melody man. The mastering is good too besides the snare. The distortion is good but maybe a tad' over the top but hey, that's only my opinion.
another way for my 14 year old self to vent his fake emoness! aww, how touching, dem good old days... sort of lol
Great song. I like the distortion-y bits in it. Overall, a very nice piece to listen to
Nice work, PM me if you ever want to do something
yeah ill tell u if i get lots of time to work on taht stuff.. im usually too busy now to actually finish thnings [note how all my recent stuff are unfinished lol] but ill give u a pm when/if im ready lol. thx for the rev!
This isn't mastered, its mixed. I can hear crackles that mastering would eliminate. Its mixed, and nicely, although a bit loud.
That kick has too much reverb on it. Turn it down, and EQ it up at 1k for more texture.
There is no tension, but the melody is nice, and the synth is cool, although it sounds a bit lo-fi. The clap is OK, but it fits, I guess.
The vocal sample was cool, as were the FX.
I hear a build coming, I like the tempo changes, but I was expecting something bigger at 2:25 then what I got, maybe something huge, but really the song never climaxed... The mixing kinda killed it. Make sure that the new elements you introduce are audible, or I wont be able to tell what happened.
haha good to see a serious review, judging by the six below i know i cant actually be as awesome as they say :)
hehe i guess im too scrub to know the difference between mixing and mastering at this point, jst learned how to make decent sounding stuff on reason now and im getting over myself :D ill keep tension and stuff in mind, i made the original one of this a while ago when i was still learning the program. thx for the construct. crit!
