I can't believe I never commented on this one. I really like this remix. I like the little jumpy bit around 1:40.

A big release for an infamously big state? Not really. I just thought the song I was covering fit the state really well for what it is, despite being based in England. The icon for the song is not of Texas but of Cumberland, England, because the song I am covering is Cumberland Cross. In short, I just really like Strommen’s melody and wanted to adapt it into a song I can actually do something with (I secretly love classical music, but don’t have the means to actually compose any and make it sound decent). Enjoy!
Edit: I think this is one of those songs that you listen to once and are like, “ok that was cool, no need to listen to it again”

I didn’t see you there until now. The main issue I have with this song is that I basically stole what Strommen did in terms of melody, harmony, and in a way progression and didn’t do anything new with it. It’s essentially a cover of his song instead of a remake or remix, but I didn’t explain that in the description at first.
