Really had some fun with this one, tried out some more composing techniques, made some places big, and some places packed. It was fun, pretty happy with it, gonna use it for a Forest level in my game, Moai.

This track gives the atmosphere of adventuring and having fun while doing it! And yeah, I agree with @ian-booms with the percussion, vary the velocity yeah?

Quick question, did you use Garageband to make this song? Cause the instrument sounds are similar.

Mabelma responds:

Yes I did, you have a good ear. Still learning how to make them more unique sounding. Definitely experimenting with varying velocities.

Fun listen! There is indeed a lot going on here! Sometimes in the percussion when there are many hits in a row it sounds really robotic (such as at 1:10), you might want to try giving each hit a different velocity to make it feel a little more human.

Keep up the great work!

Mabelma responds:

Thank you tons for your feedback. I’ve seen some people do that but never tried it myself, will definitely give it a try 🙏

I love it!
It makes me feel like I was wandering in a city overrun by vegetation, under a hot summer sun.
I like the bass instrument, I think its this that makes me feel like I'm in a city. Kinda like Midgar in FF7, and the flute definitely has forest vibes.

Good job! :)

Mabelma responds:
