You really aren't giving yourself enough credit. It's so peaceful at the beginning and the end but builds up in the middle, the whole time keeping the melody perfectly "intact". It's peaceful and ominous at the same time; it has the peace of Morrowind's theme but the glory of the start of Oblivion's. This is one of the best versions of it i have heard. (Maybe it's just because i like piano music).
