Happy! :]

I've had a rough couple of days, this definitely cheered me up!
You've got a unique voice that works for this track, sounds great.
Again, the lyrics are really nice, you've got a talent there.

Personally I liked the piano and "banjo" added in there. Sounded good.

Pro: Your voice matches perfectly with everything, adds a nice touch. The placement of those added instruments is perfect, couldn't have been better.
Con: Turn up the drums a bit, I could hardly hear them over everything that was going on.

Another great track, keep these coming!
Artist favorite. :]

jnry3 responds:

Hmm... I can hear the drums well at where I'm at. Hmm... what's your audio system? On second thought, it does feel a bit muddy.

The synth banjo gave it a nice light feeling, plus the piano too, although I'm having second thoughts about the banjo. I think it'll be a last-minute decision in my project.

May 2008 -- I'm hoping to get 14 tracks out on a CD. ^_^

alright...ok...I see it going places...

Ok. I really liked the beginning guitar riff. That was brilliantly put together with the dissonance and everything =)

The only things that I really didn't enjoy were the banjo and the weird electronic piano...thing...

I would say maybe revisit this and rethink some of it. But I liked it enough to download it, so its not a complete loss.

jnry3 responds:

Hmm... thanks for the feedback (this is one of the tracks I'll be reworking soon, so good timing!).

I'll rethink the banjo (but am definitely taking that out from the opening; not sure about the extro, though), but I think I have to keep the piano -- it's there as both a filler and an element to provide lightness to the song. Maybe I need to tweak the piano...?

Again, many thanks! ^_^

I dont know about this. I like the track but the lyrics are a lil too kidie for me. I really think if you made Christian music you would most def go Double Myrrh.

jnry3 responds:

Hmm... haven't heard of Double Myrrh. Christian music? That's new, hehe.

Well... lyrics can either be seen as "kiddie" or "light-hearted", so it's a matter of preference.

Thanks for the review! ^_^

Fun, uplifting

It is something that makes tap along with your foot. I like the way it picks you up. Is that a synthetic banjo in some parts? Or just a synthetic guitar? (i have a hard time recognizing synthetic guitars, cause i am used to recognizing real ones)

jnry3 responds:

The entire recording, except the vocals, is composed of synthesized instruments. And yes, you did hear a synthetic banjo. ^_^

The beginning was the best

I think you should make more songs like that kite song. No lyrics and a nice classical/rock song. No offense though!

jnry3 responds:

Yeah, I understand. ^_^ But I'm still inclined to create mainstream songs as well. It's hard to get mainstream attention without mainstream songs.

Thanks for your review, by the way! Really appreciated it!
