In a forest in the United States, in Pine Barrens, the Institute of Chaos Studies, helped by the Dobbs twins, seeked to find a way to access parallel universes.

The Egg, also the Cocoon or Cucurbit, was a device which enables trans-dimensional travel. When a nuclear disaster happened, the radiation made the group decide to travel to a parallel universe with the Egg, the device which they invented. The universe where they ended up was one in which human life didn't evolve or exist.

The only thing left behind by them was a gateway.

Incunabula was the organization which described this group in a distributed catalogue, filled with mysteries.

I am digging that corrupt, glitchy vibe with the beat. The other elements definately lend to an alien vibe. In fact, the vox/pads remind me of some classic sci-fi animes, same with the semi detuned strings. Also, who's playing ping-pong in the background? Haha...it just works. Damn good piano melodies. Love how this evolves. Nice work dood.

LostChronology responds:

Thanks for your feedback man! :)

Sounds great! I'm already thinking about what kind of dungeon this would go into...

That breathing sound at the end was pure genius! Great job. Loved it!

LostChronology responds:

Thank you so much for the kind review! I thought it worked very well to add that sound at the end with a high-pass over it, haha!

Great sound. Nice choice of elements. Very interesting and appropriate atmosphere. Lots of little details for the ear to follow. I really have no significant complaints lol

LostChronology responds:

Thank you, I also tried to add a little bit of dissonant leaning bits like the piano around 01:41 to add to the strange and odd feeling. I am glad with the result and how the instruments seemed to work out a bit better than in other works with some tweaking of the EQ.
