Fite For Your Love

? HEYOO GUYS, BlackLynk, on the move, yet again. This is a song I made based on the character Dylan, from the "The Human Heart" Visual Novel. The VN has big wholesome furry vibes and Dylan, as you'll find, is a big geeky gamer mole. You'll find yourself falling for this cuddly combo breaker in no time while playing through the game. I managed to craft the composition of the production and lyrics and in a day or two. Something about the idea of this song clicked with me and immediately, my mind is firing off melodies left and right. The idea was for the instrumentation to be Mortal Kombat themed, as you'll hear what I tried to imitate in synth form, but nontheless coming together in a smooth autotune trap banger. The lyrics are very video game based, to elude to the character's traits in game, however the vocabulary is loose enough to make for a decent general banger as well. Coming in at 3:01 "Fite For Your Love" is a cute, brief, and refreshing take on today's mainstream Hip-Hop! Believe it or not, I actually created all of the production and lyrical ideas at work, humming into a voice memo, with lyrics being the absolute last thing to be taken down. I created the song specifically because, in the game, Dylan's route in "Old Story" done to completion, would unlock an after-credits scene and sprite test, where you spend more intimate time with him; playing video games and watching anime movies, soon you find its dark and late out, but he grabs your arm right before you leave. That's when he grabbed my heart, and I hope he'll touch yours when you play the VN for yourself and inevitably MELT from his smile.~ ?

There are some tight harmonies in this. Vocal rhythms are well done. I'm not super into hip hop but this is some really classy stuff.

HAHAHA, is that a chop from mortal combat? One of those background synth lines sounded like the synth used in the movie. Is it an FL pad preset or something? I use Propellerhead's Reason so I can't identify common FL sounds. I didn't notice the pad until the beat dropped off around the coda.

I appreciate your attention to detail in listening to audio! In this track there is all of one stock preset from FL Studio and those are the orchestra's hits that you can hear VEEEEERY subtly at like 0:27. The rest are samples from packs from a producer community I'm a part of; kick and clap being the only instruments I created from scratch, I appreciate the listen and keep the beep boop love alive haha
