Oh hey, two songs within a week. Yes, I managed to do that, and even with a seven minute song, that... quite honestly is so unnecessarily long, it's a bit annoying, even for me. But to change anything would actually be too much work, so I really can't go back and change it. However, I had fun writing and recording it. It's honestly one of my greatest songs.

I've had the main riff in my head for a little while now. I do know it started simply from learning Eye of the Beholder by Metallica. The rest of the song was ideas that were also floating around in my head. The prechorus riff, which is the first half time part, is an idea I've wanted to use in a full song at some point, so I'm glad I got to do it in this song. The solo is, once again, one of my best. I still think that Rigel's is better, but I still love this one. I've been getting better at writing solos.

This is something of a progressive metal song. It switches time signatures a lot. To be honest, it made it hell to record, but damn, I did have fun with it.

As for this being labeled as an instrumental, well I have lyrics written out. The only issue is... I can't do metal singing for the life of me. I'm searching for a vocalist. This means the full version with vocals may take a little while. Because of that, enjoy a NewGrounds exclusive for a little while! :)
