On the outskirts of Naples lies the majestic and truly powerful volcano Vesuvius. If not all, many of us know him as the destroyer of the city of Pompeii. Its most memorable eruption occurred on August 24, 79 ad. Volcanic lava flows mowed down three cities at once: Herculaneum, stabii and Pompeii. But now, this volcano just stands and sleeps. Around the peacefully sound of an Italian mandolin and clobber the drums, but it gives him a kind of pleasure.
