I've been listening and writing a bunch of reviews for your music and damn all i can say is i love your music style. It's calm and relaxing. It's pretty smooth flowing no bumps or anything. Keep it up i look forward to more of your music
Thats something i like to hear. The only reason i make music is for the people, when i hear that someone enjoys one of my songs it makes my day. Thanx for that rev
Dude this is the real meaning to music...beautiful man =D.
a great feel good song....ah..i feel better already
Beach shore sounds in the start of this song is so damn awesome and detailed. If it doesn't bug ya, send me some of these water samples. NOW. I need them SO BADLY, because every time I try finding something that's supposed to be "beach sound effects" I get samples that sound more like white noise sampled with a 5$ mic. The bird samples are also realistic to the point where I take off my headphones to check if they aren't right outside my door. in a few parts of the song they would really do good if they were louder, because as of now it's hardly in there when the main part of the song goes.
The guitar is recorded with great quality, if you didn't use an awesome sample set for the guitar. The reverb on it is quite weird- guitar sounds like it's in a hall, where the sax sounds like it's played in the bottom of Grand Canyon. Or maybe not. And yeah about the sax- I absolutely love it. Such a peaceful and relaxing melody, I also love how it sounds much more "real" than it does in most songs- and if it's a sample set too then I'm kinda amazed at how well you used it.
The drums don't fit too well, though it adds great originality. Some more regular and less steelish drums would sound about as good- I'd prefer it but that's just me. Some pretty good drum samples you have here, though it IS only the same loop going on through the whole track. The windchime was a great addition too, though it sounds pretty cheesy.
Oh I see you put some pianoish thingy here. It sounds like a combination of an electric piano, a jazz vibe bell and a synth- maybe that and a more real sounding piano playing in harmony would do good? I don't know, haven't tryified it myself in any of my songs so you better do it in this song >:C
An absolutely awesome song though it's pretty short and repetitive- and another thing- it's clipping pretty badly. You better turn the volume down a whole lot or at least use a compressor so there's no clipping or other kinds of distortion in the song- the clipping does ruin quite a bit of the feeling this song gives
Oh SBB would be proud I think
You should ask him to rev. this song. This song is quite mellow. The guitar is old school bringing back fond memories. Sax too! You even got the twinkle instrument which I don't know the name of. Could this be a oasis song? The ending is wierd since even with the fade out the song doesn't feel like it should end yet. Those are some unique drums you used. Never heard anything like them until now. My computer is no good right now. Every song on NG fuzzes so I'm buying a new computer soon. Good job on this. Classical and general rock seems to be your forte. 10 stars and 5 vote. Bye for now.
I couldn't figure out an ending so as i say when all else fails FADE. I didn't think the drums where that diverse. Everything on ng fuzzes on the pc or mac. It might just be the soundcard since you use it so damn much;) If you just get a new soundcard it would save you a whole lot of money. My forte huh..... I would belive that if i got a crap load more reviews on my rock songs and higher scores. so far my Chill-o-Matic song has 10 revs and a 4.45 or something score, so by going off of that i would think house is my forte. But i could be wrong. Thanx for the rev.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
