i really liked the bass pattern, but i wish you could have mixed it up a bit more. a second bass in the drop would have made it much better.
Besides basically taking Teminite's name, my biggest issue is the mixing here. It clips a ridiculous amount throughout the course of this. The arrangement in the drops is quite sloppy and it seems you only used one bass. The bass itself is OK but leaves a lot to be desired based on the fact that it's rather outdated, and bland. Using OTT would greatly sharpen it up and give it more substance, and taking the time to give it other basses to accompany would take this a lot further. As much as sound design offers, a sloppy mix is fatal to a track. I hear a lot from "riddim kids" who may or may not know what they're doing that if you have good sound design, who cares. My argument is that no one cares. If you have ok or even good sound design but a sloppy mix, no one cares. So I always like to try and make as clean of a product as I can. DM me if you want to talk further. I also use FL.
Yeah my mixing isnt the best right now, but thanks for the advice on it! Although, the whole Teminite's name thing... you really like jumping to conclusions without asking questions. I created this name and logo before I even knew who Teminite was.. for the name, I was creating an account for the game Geometry dash long ago and I was like. "hmm, what cool name should I use? Temnai sounds like a good name, yeah!" then I took that idea to photoshop, creating my logo. A few moths after, I heard of Teminite and I was like... wow, what a coincidence!
