I created this song with thoughts of a character first waking up in the morning in the town they've lived in their whole life. It's supposed to be happy and nostalgic but still adventurous, a feeling which I try to make all my songs encompass.

I listened to town themes from Illusion of Gaia, Stardew Valley, Secrets of Evermore and Night in the Woods to get inspiration and this was the culmination I guess. I absolutely love town themes. Thank you very much for listening!

Great job as always! I especially love the break with the bongos, really drives home the "comfort at home" vibe. I feel as though the percussion entrance is a bit hard; it's something to get used to as you listen.

Thank you! I'm glad that you liked that part I'm usually not great at making cohesive breaks in my songs. Listening back I totally get what you mean regarding the percussion as well. I was a little too focused on creating the right kit to fit the feel and could very likely edit it to reveal itself better.
