Walking on Dundas

Pretty sure I've never used this much reverb before.

I was just visiting home in Toronto last week and this came into my head while I was walking along Dundas St. I recorded this as soon as I got back to LA. I've been tinkering with it for a couple of days now, and I'm still not 100% happy with it but I gotta move on at some point, so here it is!

The 'B' section (0:45) is a reused idea from a little piece of background music I used near the end of Sublo and Tangy Mustard #4.

I'm still tempted to cut out the bridge at 2:00 since it doesn't match the mood of the rest of it, but oh well.

Very mellow, & easy-going. Nice!

This is a really awesome song, but for geometry dash how do i find the song ID?

The Bowie is strong with this one

I like this track. It's very well mixed, and peaceful. Quite uplifting, actually. I'd for sure have this playing in the background while relaxing.

Just listening to this with no information about Toronto or Dundas Street, to me the song definitely feels like a late-spring, early-summer daytime walk in a sleek and robust metropolis, particularly a richer part of town. Not super rugged, lots of shops. Possibly near a coast. It gives me almost a Station-Square-type vibe (from Sonic Adventure, specifically the by the poolside near the coast and hotel).

Anyway, I like the vibe. Nice work.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! Dundas isn't a particularly fancy or coastal street but I played Sonic Adventure a ton growing up and I like that interpretation of the song! I guess it does have kind of a beach-y feeling.
Glad you enjoyed it!

sorry for the self promo but can you guys check out my new track and let me know what you think? thanks!
