Welcome back! This one's a trip. I appreciate the atmosphere and variety in this one. I can't really offer an analysis nor desire to critique the mix. I just enjoy this one, and it got me to smile.

Hi,
just thought to upload my little experiment here. It is some kind of weird retro german new wave song. I actually sang by myself and this will probably be the first and the last song which I ever will sing. I might post a translation of the text here later but it´s rather trivial. It is mainly a dystopy that we are living in times where hate and greed rule over the world. The screaming in the chorus mainly means: Brave new world - Brave new shit. The song is called Plakativ, which loosely means "bold and simple" here.
The speech is from Philipp Scheidemann after world war one when the German Empire ended and a democracy was built.
The mix is likely horrible and my singing is aweful. Happy about any comment ;=)

Thanks a lot and good to see you are still around here!
This song is strangely charming to me. The chords take me in directions I don't expect, and the synths bouncing and growling give off a dystopian feel.
The sampled speech reminds me of Dario Buente having sampled the "I'm a human being, goddamnnit! My life has value!" speech.
Probably the only complaint I have is that there isn't a smooth transition when the sample cuts out, whether it be a quick fade, or an extension of the background noise that fades out or glitches out, you get the idea.
Stylistically, there's plenty to keep me guessing, and plenty to keep it varied and frightening all at once. I have no complaints regarding production.
I love this little gem; I think I shall put it in my favourites. Thanks for sharing this! 😁
Hey! Thanks a lot for the nice review! Glad you like it. Also a very good idea to fade out the samples. Didn´t think about it but you´re right that the sudden background noise cut is strange.
