Awkward Teenage Romance

Share

Author Comments

The 7th installment into The Magic of Childhood series.

The boy is 14 now, and he is involved in his first year-long high school relationship, and it is quite awkward yet happy :)

This is the time the boy finally starts to mature greatly, as the true naiveness and magic of childhood slips away for good.

There is a mid-section in this piece that is in 11/8

Total time: 12 hours 2 minutes

For an akward song this sounds quite elegant, something you'd hear in a library or something similar in one of those 2012 rpg maker games, the third segment feels less elegant but idk if I'd call it exactly akward, but it does capture that happiness of a teenage romance so it's a great installment as always anyway.
At least one part of this boy's coming of age story isn't sad or painful somehow, yes, I know, it gets worse later on.
Also great use of a non conventional time signature.

Super glad you enjoyed! I based this entry on my own experience with dating at the age of 14... ‘twas an awkward yet enjoyable time! These reviews mean a lot to me as a creator, thank you for leaving them! :)

Ah yes. I remember high school. How awkward it was when the marching snare started playing or the violins were screeching.

I'm just joking. This is just as good as every other installment to this series

theweathermanYT responds:

Lol I felt that first line, especially being in high school band. Glad you enjoyed and continue to stick around! :)
