Street Lights At Midnight

I’m Wanderin’

Wonderin’ about nothin

With a bottle of Seagram’s in my hand

Neon signs

“Drinks and ladies inside”

A spot light wherever I stand

A beautiful night

Complimented by the breeze’s bite

The stars are looking sharp and frail

I’m jumping street lights

Out here at midnight

And still, I’m under full sail

Moonlight shine down upon me

And assure me everything is fine

Cause it’s getting a little bit late now

And ya know I’m running out of time

I’ll close my eyes

When you accept when I apologize

Maybe I'll learn to change my tone

This bottle’s tipped back

Now that the sky’s gone black

I’m tired now I’m coming home

Say my name when we’re shoulder to shoulder

So I know that you’re on my side

We’ll pass through the gates of the city

With the street lights at midnight

At midnight

At midnight

We’ll pass through the gates of the city

With the street lights at midnight

I absolutely love this song, Connor.
The harmonizing you did in this song is really cool.

ConnorDeVaux responds:

Thanks a lot, I was trying a lot of new things I s'pose with this one

Love the melody and lyrics. The voice is too quiet though and sometimes the rhythm is unclear, but i love it anyway

ConnorDeVaux responds:

Aw thanks a lot. I tried to bring the vocals a little more forward and yeah I think I was trying to do too much on the one guitar track
