Its been a long time since I've made anything from scratch. It took me a while to get going, but once I found a direction I was able to finish it pretty quickly. I went looking through some of my old projects and I found a couple that sounded like they could make something good. On this one, all I had was the first line you hear in the beginning. Wasn't much to go on.

The origins of my music taste kind-of show in this one. About half way through making it I realized there was about 5 @F-777 songs that the melody sounded like. I hadn't listened to his music for a while so I was surprised by this but in a way I wasn't. He was the artist that got me into listening to music, and so all I listen to was exclusively his songs for years. I could have told you the name of any of them just from hearing or whistled it if you gave me a name. I ended up sort-of embracing the similarities and used his Dark Angel (Piano Version) as inspiration for the drums.

I plan on turning some more of my old stuff into full songs so I should be making my own stuff from now on. I may occasionally do a remix though.
