This one is actually a gift to a relative of mine. I started out making a progressive house track - you can hear the influences in there - but I liked the melody too much, and I couldn't think of anything to set it apart from other progressive house tracks. I thought of things I could do to make it more unique, and I tried speeding it up, first to 150, then 155 BPM and each time it sounded better! So I decided to make it a happy hardcore track. I struggled with names a little, but in the end, I settled for a portmanteau of "happy hardcore," the song's genre, and "happy holidays," being that it was now made specifically for Christmas. This is definitely my most professional-sounding song to date, but of course, I'm always still learning, so feedback is welcome and encouraged!
