Thing’s weren’t as dead as you were told. Now your mind is counting how many pods you already passed to get down here. Wet crackling sounds whisper through the dim corridors. Nothing but spastic sputtering from your com. No reinforcements are coming. Heart beat swells. A single drop of sweat trickles down your face. Your hands clamp down like a vise on your plasma rifle. It’s just you and the bugs now.

Will you attempt to reach team 6 and the mech? Or make a run for level 1 ground floor? Clock is ticking. The pods are hatching.
