I've been listening to your stuff since going to the Audio Portal, and I've gotta say it's very impressive. I've been playing guitar for a little over a year now but I haven't tried soloing yet. And by the way what kind of guitars do you use man, I've got an Ibanez RG and I think they kick ass. Rock on.

soloing advice

Yeah, this is gonna be completely out of newgrounds context but, i can give you some small pointers on your soloing techniques. It's pretty obvious you've got good melody and you know what kind of tune you want, but your lead is just really linear. It's stays put. Try finding the other notes that work with it and then feel free to go nuts and play that part you already wrote within that solo. It'll allow you to keep the same hook while making it a bit more interesting (no offense). Just thought i'd help out, though you probably don't give a shit. I've been playing guitar for a few years now and lead lines are starting to be my specialty. I like your stuff, keep it up. You should visit my old band's site. ...and I like it man! Nice little lead guitar playing in the intro, nice chunky riffs. Some good bass playing happening. The finished version of this song is gonna kick so much ass.
