Did you know that in the game knytt stories, there's a level (dark sky of wish mountain) that actually used this song in part of it? One of my favorite songs, too. NO, I didn't create the level.

snayk responds:

Huh, I didn't know that... I've played the game before though, and I'm honored to have been a part of it.

I just wish the creator(s) had contacted me about it. I don't even know whether or not I appear in the game's credits =/

I'm glad you enjoyed the song. Thanks for the review!

EDIT: It turns out I am in the game's credits. No hard feelings. I still like to be contacted about such things, though.

Tap to the beat

Now I am not entirely sure how I would fit this to be played in one of my sets anytime soon. But it will get alot of play time on my iPod!

This song reminds me of a few songs that I can't seem to think of at this moment...

but one that I can think of is "Dust Stirred Up" by Boyfriendgirlfriend.

It's got a great feel and vibe to it.

Excellent work, but....

The only thing that saves this song is the rhythm, because it's been composed so well, gets you into the movement of the song. The melody work is what's lacking, it could use more melodies or more work, the solo section at 2:58 is a nice addition. In my honest opinion, that riff just isn't cutting man, but great work on the rhythm.

snayk responds:

Alright. I like it. Thanks.

This sounds so familiar

When I started listening to it there was a similar beat i couldn't remember what it was at first. Then I realized it was like one of the songs from Escape from LA. I really enjoy your work. ^_^
