This is a track I released earlier this year. As the name may suggest, I made it as a way to externalise my struggle with perfectionism, and how it affects my ability to get done with stuff. As such, it's a very personal song.
It's heavily inspired by the style of my favorite artist, Porter Robinson, but it's also got a kind of sound that's very particular to me.
The vocals are sung by Vocaloid Avanna, which, for those who don't know, is a voice synthesizer software that can sing by using an input of MIDI notes combined with phonemes.
(FUN FACT: I used to make Vocaloid music, but have since moved away from the fandom, and it is now simply another tool to use in my productions)
The lyrics are as follows:
Keep on going on and on
Keep on, there's no end to it
Keep on, till I'm satisfied
Keep on 'cause I'm just not good enough
Keep on going on and on
Keep on
Keep on, hesitating
Keep on
...
I don't yet have a specific type of sound or style that I limit myself to, as I always like to experiment with different vibes and genres.
I always like to blend different genres in a single track. This particular blend of future bass with midtempo is an aesthetic I really enjoy. I also like that it's both relaxing and energetic.
I'm still in the process of finding my sound, so I can't say for sure, but this is probably the type of sound you can expect from sakura Hz in the future.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
