This is a project I sat on for a few years. I learned a lot about FL Studio , and mixing in general, during this project. I definitely feel like I know the program better now.
This is a remaster of a remake of a remix. The first version had softness issues, and I feel I introduced harder VSTs to soon. In addition, I looked up sidechaining techniques and applied them. There were a few layering issues and it sounded like a mess.
I made the original in GarageBand back in... 2011? I pictured it a little like the first round in a boss fight, with the darker and slower Blizzard being round two. I used native VSTs and loops at the time. After export I noticed peaking issues. I worked to recreate the arp and delay instruments from the original, but provide more polish. Having separate channels made customization a lot easier. The reversed final chord was used for my YouTube intro for a long time.
I was having issues with prior releases and low volume. I checked my driver settings and it may be fixed.
Looking forward to feedback!
