This dreary and sorrowful nocturne is loosely based off of Chopin's Nocturne No. 20 in C# Minor.
The piece is meant to portray feelings of dread and anguish over a murder in a small community. While the victim sleeps soundly in their grave the killer is still loose and ready to kill again. Who will fall prey next? Only time will tell.

Beautiful. Considering the spooky thing I was expecting some kind of foreboding setting, some brooding, some jumpscare, something... but this was refreshingly classy and clean. Yet I'd probably be pretty unnerved if this played in an empty house, shadows playing in the windows, an empty chandelier shining brightly through the haze... makes for an almost magical kind of setting, yet a spooky ambience all the same.
