I got an old early 2000s groovebox called the yamaha RM1X, so I made this track entirely on it! Recorded it down to tape and slowed it, then added some kinda cool moving soundscapes on top of it. It's really chill and kinda relaxing. Good for doing coding at work and the like.

Getting a real nice ambient, almost Aphex Twin like feeling from this. Really like the hihat. Keep it up!

Thanks so much! Richard is a huge inspiration, so that is a massive compliment. And I'm glad the hi-hat didn't get too droney/repetitive, I wanted to experiment a bit with having a constant backing track of the chimes and hi-hat, tie everything together.
