This song reminds me a little bit to the group COIL, they were really good with the experimental music too. But this is also heavier than their usual stuff, is like an strange mix between Three Days Grace or CheVelle and COIL. Even if this had a simple composition, is an enjoyable track, I have curiosity to see it in your VN project, because I wonder how this dark track can be into something like a Visual Novel.

Ooooh that's a really meaty sub bass you have going on there.. the "clown-sounding" melody on top of it all really helps build up that atmosphere of eerie dread.

Quite well done! Really digging the vibe! At first I didn't like the drums, but they eventually really grew on me. Real groovy, some great stuff, Fate! :thumbsup:

Might want to put this in Ambient, in regards to genre. The tune isn't too distracting and in the case of it being for a visual novel, that's a good thing.

As for the instrumentation, I wouldn't really put this in "Heavy Metal", but whatevs.
Very Simple sounds, but I'm sure you'll get into more nitty-gritty things like sound design later in music.
Love the simple bass line, although it kinda clashes with the melody, but maybe that's what you want.
Drums are nice and simple. good groove to it.

Overall reminds of scooby-doo for obvious reason. Nice Work.
