Worked on this with a professor, awhile back. Between the school restoring all of their data and me losing the flash drive it was backed up on, I no longer have the project file. I wanted to do a lot more with that xylophone, add more atmosphere, then give it a proper mixing session. This was sort of a mock-up of the production. A little boomy and poorly glued together, but it's close enough.

Oooh, this turn out very nice!

Jacob responds:

You turned out very nice!

I am sorry, but I had to give you a zero.
1. It's too good. You need to dial it down a little. *eye roll*
2. The mixing was very good and you aren't supposed to mix that well if you're on newgrounds. You need to start professional distributing your music.
3. I liked the composition.

Woops I pressed 5.

whoa hot damn! is this recorded live? this is some good stuff dude!

Jacob responds:

Half of it was! The sax, guitar, bass, and drums were all recorded live. They were just tight enough to avoid any timing fixes, and just loose enough to keep the groove. The piano, organ, and xylophone were all played in midi, then quantized loosely.

Thank you for the review! Love you, brother.

This was very relaxing! I could listen to this on loop for hours while doing work.

OH MY GOD THIS SAX IS AMAZING! OH MY HEART

Jacob responds:

Just checked out your stuff, and I love it!
Thank you for the reaction. It made my day at least twice.
