To me, when I hear this I imagine someone in a deep nightmare struggling to awaken while being chased by something wicked of their dreams.

A good style

I thought this was a very nice style to use and worked well as being an authentic replication of this kind of music. I am not the biggest rock and roll fan, but this was still enjoyable. I especially like how as it goes on, it seems like it has these short interludes. Then it just appears to change style completely. This is a very good example of variety in a song that can really help it overall. I think it's actually 2:46 long, but then again it did stop at 2:45, so I guess you were right after all.
