I have taken in a lot of feedback.
I completely recomposed the song. There was a lot of things off with the composition part, and so I had to rewrite it. Some lyrics were cut off, but the song somehow extended to 5:30. I hope you enjoy this song. I worked very hard on it.

Thanks for tuning in.

Update to audio:
Used Maximus to make it louder.
I de-essed the vocals. Sorry about that!

I am not liking the vocals, especially every C pops harshly... It would be fine just as an instrumental.

Thanks

I like the emotional appeal of the beginning. The string samples sound pretty inauthentic, but the contrapuntal nature of the texture is nice. The vocals are nice, although at times the syllables don’t sync up with the beat perfectly (e.x.: “not achieve” at 1:03). The lyrics are sweet, but a little cliche. By around the 2-minute mark, the piece starts to feel repetitive, but the bridge at 2:27 helps alleviate that lack of variety, and I like the woodwind solos. The pause at 2:57 was a bit awkward, and the solo at 3:01 sounds pretty muddy and indistinct. The mix is pretty quiet throughout the whole piece, in fact. I also think you could do more to maximize the emotional appeal of the piece - little volume automations throughout the phrase, humanization, etc. The modulation at 4:08 was a nice idea, although it doesn’t do much to assuage the repetitive nature of this track. The outro also sounded good, but the end came on a little suddenly. Maybe a ritardando and ascending harp arpeggio would be a more gradual way of concluding the piece? Overall, I like the melodic content, emotional qualities, and flow of the piece. Aspects of the sound design might need work, as well as the variety and production details.

Thanks for your review. ❤
where you said the mix sounded muddy and stuff is an effect that had been used in a professional production reference to refresh the song. It was supposed to come off as a phonograph quality. But perhaps I didn't do it properly.

Very Disney musical moment-like.
I'd even go as far as to say it reminded me of the classical french musical rendition of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Beautiful composition. Great voice!

(Good luck in the contest!)

Thanks so much. I really appreciate your review.
