I've been really interested in all these music contest going on on newgrounds (if somebody here reading knows of any extra-negrounds music contests do tell!). The latest one was called Art Inspired Music, pretty straightforward huh? Well the piece of art that caught my attention was a black & white drawing of a super lit dancefloor.

I'm very well aware of my strengths and weaknesses an I know that one my abilites is making electronic dance music so choosing that one as my inspiration was a no-brainer.
The drawing has been meticulously drawn to the slightest detail in the best Where's Waldo? style so it was only logical to translate that preciseness to detail to the audio quality which has been thoroughly polished.
As an extra element I pictured this really deep voice taking you throughout the song and introducing the characters just as if it was a friend at the club who's showing you the ropes and introducing you to hot new people.
Sound-wise it works well thanks to the eight bitty bassline which makes it perfect for videogame music so feel free to use this track in any of your animations, I'd love to see it put to good use!
