OKAY so this one has an unorthodox story behind it. I'm pretty much a musical moron and theory is like fucking chinese to me, I don't know what notes are and what sounds they correspond to and all that jazz, much less keys, modes, and all that high tech bullshit. So if I'm gonna compose MIDI, I basically do it in Guitar Pro. Real shit. So I'd originally made this arrangement to be playable within a metal band format and when I exported the MIDI it sounded so radical I decided to double the leads with synth and double the bass' voice with an octave, if I recall correctly. Passed it through some soundfonts (don't remember what I used for the guitars but I'm damn sure the bass was lifted from Genesis, gotta dig the THICCness of it), slipped the percussion through EZDrummer and voila.

I swear to god I'll learn actual theory one of these days, but as it remains, my ear hasn't let me down yet.
