I'm so happy I get to review this piece because let me tell you it's about. TO. GO. DOWN!!!
So let me start with 0:00-0:30. This part I was skeptical because I kept believing it was just gonna keep on stretching itself to the point of a build up somewhere in the 1:00 section but instead it just came out nice. It had a small section of interlude filtering from 0:15 and then from there on to 0:30 it had that nice little add on lead 8 bit sound which nice job on just keeping it simple without any reverb because that's what 8 bit is supposed to sound.
From 0:30 to 0:44 I like the beat you added it's simple and works well with it throughout the song so the drumming is in check and no complaints there. At 0:44-0:58 that uprising towards the climax is interesting in a way where for me it seemed like it could have had a little added variety at around 0:56-0:58, something like Paradigm by Case & Point. To me it's still good regardless. Now coming in to both chorus I could hear a lot of structure and if I'm right some sampling which came out very nice and that's something that brought me to continue listening to this piece. I think to be fair my favorite part was the interlude in the mid section of this piece that hits around 1:57 to 2:11. I love the calmness towards the solo bits. Another thing I like about this piece is the little sounds and effects you added like bells, chimes, and swirls. It's cute, it's not in the slightest bit generic, there's a lot of structure and work put into it, and literally one of the best mixed and mastered pieces I've heard here on Newgrounds. All of it reminds me of Snails House way of making music. Great job! Amazing work! Keep it up!
