My motivation for composing slumped nearly a year ago, and I don't think I returned to my peak just yet, but I'm glad I finally finished a full-length song after that long break. I know two minutes isn't a lot, but I did most of what I envisioned and didn't take (too many) shortcuts.

I was inspired by the Russian folk music I've been listening to lately, as well as Witcher 3's soundtrack. I really want to play that game soon because I'm already in love with the music.

I hope you enjoy it! :)

Ah, 6/8! The ultimate oom-pah time signature. Sounds like a bright morning on a trading ship or something. I like the cute melodies and cheerful tone. A lot of the piece is missing some low-mid frequencies imo, but that's my only real complaint. The heavy percussion at the beginning and end ties the piece together nicely. Keep up the good work, Everratic! ^_^

Thank you for the review! Sorry for the late reply.

This should be heard in commercials, at least. It's beautiful. The quality of the violin solo is top-notch, too. Well done!

Everratic responds:

Thank for the lovely review :) I'm really glad that some people think my music is good enough to be used commercially.

I love the intro to this one! It caught my attention immediately, and gave me an expectation for the style of the song. The melody that came after didn't disappoint. 0:50 is really cute, and lays out a great atmosphere. I could totally imagine this in a medieval game, like Trine!
The ending suits the introduction, and ties together the piece nicely. I'm glad to hear a new full composition from you, after a bit of a break in that department! Keep it up :)

Everratic responds:

Thank you for the review! I'm happy you hear you think this can fit in a video game :D
