I'm trying to teach myself music theory, and I am using Rosegarden to give myself MIDI composition practice. This is my first demo track. It's not good, but it's a starting point. Comments are encouraged!

this was the first song i ever wrote. i had no knowledge of music theory at the time, which may explain the feeling.
Try to lower the volume on the kick. Also, mayybe use one with more pop.
The piano isn't exactly making love to the organ, if you get my drift.
Overall, not bad for a first attempt... :)

Yes, I think that the piano and the organ are slightly dissonant, but I suppose that is what occurs when a MP3 rendering is the only thing that you do to a song. Anyways, thank you!
