will be a banger forever tbh
Holy damn is this melody contagious. Kinda harsh on the ears but thats just me. Those daft punk (atleast I think thats what those are) samples really bring this track to life. Honestly im really annoyed that I didnt find u earlier because this song slaps. Really looking forward to see what else u have in ur discography. But yeah, basically what this dude said below. vvvvv
I like the blissful melodies at the beginning, but the lead synth sounds a bit harsh in the mix and the texture overall is a bit thin. It start filling out a bit more at :45, and I like the upbeat vibe and percussion. The texture is still pretty dry, though, and I would’ve liked to hear some more reverb and mixing effects during the refrain. That said, you added a tasteful amount of reverb at the breakdown at 1:15. The arrangement and sound design of this piece are a little generic, but the vocal samples at 1:45 are refreshing, and overall it has a smooth flow and pleasing structural details. Good sense of build into 2:30, and I like the rich texture there and the bass. I wish there was a little more melodic development later in the piece, and the fade-out ending was a little bit lazy. Overall, the melodic content, production quality, atmosphere, and sound design are all strong here. My biggest problem with the piece is probably the lack of originality. Keep up the good work, Meremix! ^_^
