I was getting a bad case of the feels.
A good majority of the melodic synths are analogue. The "saxaphone" solo towards the end is just me making a trumpet sound with my mouth as I sing. I used some pitch correction in audition and transposed it up an octave with the goal of making it sound like some sort of valved wind instrument.
I'm actually not sure what you would call this. When I had to pick a genres, I just called it Drum n Bass because there's an amen break in the mix, albeit a heavily altered one.
its like the music og adult swim and venture bros mixed.
