Hellooooo♪ Been a while again, huh? Let's get right into it, m'dear! I miss reviewin' your stuff.
•Right off the bat, I *like* this! It's surprisingly slower than the original Ripple Field theme (the Kirby beginning tracks are especially upbeat and energetic, which is what makes this a bit of a pleasant surprise), and it immediately gives it a... A very soothing atmosphere.
•I can also hear that your style has changed, for this album! Your use of the FL Studio Orchestral suite is showing, that's for sure! This gives me serious Fountain of Dreams vibes (So, Melee's orchestration of it).
•1:10 → Due to my lack of musical knowledge, I'm not sure if those are trumpets, horns or something else, but I *can* tell that I really enjoy the "call for adventure" vibe they summon with their presence! It's a nice, epic feel that contrasts wonderfully with how soothing the entire track sounds.
•2:22 I did *not* expect this flute break, but I love it. Goodness, Kirby has rarely sounded so... Hylian? XD yeah, there's a Zelda-esque feel to this, for sure! It's a great introduction to your album, m'dear. Sets the tone nicely for what's to come - which I hope includes some Robobot tracks! If you ever take requests again - or commissions, whenever I have the money - I'd love to try and go with one, to see how you could adapt it to your evolving style. Anyway! Back on reviewin'.
•I... don't have much else to say, actually. As usual, you add a layer of ambient in the background that adds to the tranquil aspect of the track, yet keep that "call to adventure" idea throughout most of the piece (Like at 0:56; great addition). It just works, man! You're onto something with this. I'll be sure to check your other tracks, of course! though *this* time, I'll be trying to review all of 'em as they come out.
Cheers to you! It's good to see you're still making music, m'dear! Good luck with everything.
