Loved It

Ok I loved this song, but theres one thing that occurs to me that you could do on that song. I play violin and I could just hear a soft, slow violin part playing. If you could put a violin part in it it would be a 15 out of 10 to me.

Fuoco responds:

Mhh.. a violin you say.
A few ideas just crossed my head :)
Sounds like a good idea, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks Codeman

I just lost almost all my sheet music on a computer crash.. and also my backup was messed up. I lost the finale file for this song and I can no longer edit it :(
I could re-write everything from scratch... but I prefer doing something else.
I might as well do it again, but it'll take a while.

very nice.

This was certainly a beautiful piece. The left hand provided great harmonies, and the right hand, seemless runs that added to the sorrowfulness of the mood.
I gave a 7 on clarity, cause sometimes the piano would sound to muddy, especially in the base. If you were playing it this way in real life, I would say 'less pedal.' Use alittle less pedal and the I think you'll find the bass notes will be able to breath much better.
I like the ending in major. The beginnings key was just a tab ambiguous, sense we didn't get the minor third for a while, then right to the 4 chord, (which is common to E-flat ;) so the ending was very nice.
This is a really good piece, keep it up.

Fuoco responds:

I haven't touched a real piano actually, only my old keyboard (sadly, it sounds more like a trumpet than a piano lol). I can't play piano, this is computer generated. But I will take your advice about "less pedal", I left the pedal mark since the very begining and never bothered me, but you musicians got a very refined ear so next time I will release the pedal more often ;)

"...sense we didn't get the minor third for a while, then right to the 4 chord..."

Sounds like something good...
Despite the fact I can't understand what you're saying right now, I really like this kind of reviews because it makes me search around until I find what it means. That way, I'll understand what other people say too, and maybe I'll be capable of reviewing like you :D

Thanks for reviewing man! I seriously appreciatte it!

Review time

First off, I like the mood this creates. Very serene, and somewhat sad. It's very pretty though. Also, even though the song isn't like angry or excited, the first chord has quite a force to it, giving the feeling of a very powerful sadness.

I like the melody; it's very simple. Not too complicated, which, I think, compliments a piece like this.

Very nice harmony, I think. No dead or boring chords, and I very much like the progressions you use.

All in all, a very nice piece. I like it a lot :D Keep it up man.

P.S. I can tell you get some influence from Winter :D

Fuoco responds:

The mood is precisely what I was aiming for :D
About the melody, it's still very hard for me to create a long melody, and sticky, without messing it up :(. Still, I'm working on it. Maybe I should take classes :p

Influence from Winter?
Yes :), he's one of my favorite composers.

Thanks for reviewing!!
