It's so cool hearing a completely different song. I can see how you could get to a song so chill out of it and I'm digging what I'm hear. Really chill and has a good ambience to it. Neat job and cool work
This is the first remix I've ever posted online (of Zel-Diamond Caves by Zelazon). A remix to make it more cave like...
My first thought was just to add reverb... and delay...
I had litte to no ideas so I listened to a compilation of video game soundtrack for cave levels in nintendo games. It helped me a lot, really.
In the end I didn't do anything wild with the harmony... nor the melody (but that's because I really liked the original melody and didn't wanted to stray to much away from it)

What's different?
I've spice up the harmony to have at least 3 noticeable distinct chord progressions. Those are roughly:
[Am-D7] (at 0:00 and 1:51)
[Am7-D7-Em7-Am7] (at 0:16 1:03 2:07)
[Am7-D7-F7M-Am7-G7-Em7-A7M-Am7M] (at 0:48 1:19 2:39 3:10)
[Am7-D7-F7M-Em7-Am7-Gm7-F#m7-A7M] (at 1:35 2:23 2:54)
I used all the MIDI stems because I didn't want to stray away to far from the original piece.
