I thought it would be interesting to create a single soundtrack that progressed through a game, or something like that. The whole thing took about 2 weeks to put together not counting the month of musical practice (which ended with a lot of loops scrapped) that lead to it.

A bit about each song:

The first one is called "a new adventure". The beginning was inspired by Daft Punk's "Contact" and the rest was added on to that.

The second one is called "hero's call" and also came from Daft Punk, mixed with Jamiroquai's "Automaton"; except I made it sound a lot calmer and simpler as a sort of resting point between the two other tracks.

Finally the third one is called "king's new swing" and took me the longest to make. Funny story is that what I had in mind was something more heavy metal inspired and after that didn't work out I tried something gothic and in the end I may have mixed the two a bit. I spent a good 2 or 3 days just to get a good groove going and now it pretty much sounds exactly like what I wanted except completely by accident.

Level 1 was not bad. Level 2 was musical awesomeness. And then there was level 3, it felt like I was listening to an audiogram only for the left ear. The right ear didn't feel much better.

kaiserkothe responds:

It's possible I was a little too ambitious with the 3rd track, making one ear dedicated to the bass and the other to the harmonies. I don't think there's much I can do about it sounding like an audiogram but I can assure you that the levels for each ear are balanced. Thanks for the review!
