I made this song like two months ago and I still like it so here you can have it!

I don't have a lot of free time these days but I've been using a lot of that time learning how to do music stuff. I'm pretty much teaching myself everything which has led to some interesting results. I don't even really know real chords or theory or anything so it's pretty experimental - pretty much every song sounds very different. This was also the first thing I did lyrics and vocals for, which somehow makes it infinitely more embarrassing to play for people.

Also, this was made in audacity which is very not-a-first-choice-for-serious-musicians! Indie cred please!!!!

Wacky sonic textures are always fun, and the echo-y ending w the guitar chords was nice.

I love the way this sounds, it's very unique and interesting. The vocals are a little unclear, however intentional that may be. Very good work, keep it up! Also, it's incredibly well produced for an Audacity project! Edit: Though, the lyrics do sound really good! Especially for a first foray into lyrics.

Emrox responds:

Thanks! When I listen to music I don't really pay attention to lyrics, so it's kinda deliberately obscured so it's a little more purely aesthetic. It still tells a story but I kinda like just getting little bits and pieces of it as you listen because that's how I tend to engage with stuff and I thought it would be cool to try and capture that
