you programed this? Ha, you had my dad and I fooled. what did you use to program it to get such an authentic sound?
Very nicely done
hey Beacon, I didn't find the piano too loud at all!
but I adore that melody, that insanely quick jumble of piano notes! This sounds live, and if you can play the piano like that, I have but no choice to tip my hat off in your direction. A round of applause sir! If it's fake... then thats one hell of a job programming it in.
In any case, this is a pretty good piece! I am not really familiar with Rachmaninoff's work, but this song makes me want to take a little dip into it. Very tense, very moving, and thats what I likes in my classical tunes!
And the song loops bloody flawlessly.
Work well done Beacon, work well done! Keep up the good fight!
I confess, I am, in truth, a terrible pianist... but I took me a good six hours to program in.
The loop was actually a cut- the original 11 minute MP3 was 10MB- well past NG limits. An attempt to resample it made NG think I had put it into 22.05 Khz, so I had to trim it.
Thanks again for reviewing!
Normally the orchestra is supposed to overtake the solo instrument, but I see you did have an orchestra. It's just the program, I guess. Really, there's no fair way to grade originality or effort. I know how hard it is to write a decent classical piece, and to this point, all my stuff comes out lame. The clarity was downgraded since the bass on the piano muddied up the sound up a lot. Chords get blurred when they're on the far left. Very good.
