I'm actually proud of this one. Kind of like a lo-fi remix of Time by Hanz Zimmer from the movie Inception, slowed down to 60bpm and tuned to G# Dorian (you can find the piano version here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Dspmds_7mlI).

I’ve also added my own stuff, of course. Only part of the song is the remix, a large portion of the rest is completely different. Also I stole samples and a chord progression from a song at the end of this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MFXiRSzO3pg. The song starts at 7:37. It’s kind of a meme video, but the song is actually kinda cool imo. I’ve also sampled from Event Horizon by Xtrullor for a nice background sound.

That chord progression at the very beginning and throughout some of the rest of the song is pretty lit too, came up with it (mostly) on my own, so that’s neat.

Most of the song is at 60bpm, except for that part that’s completely different from everything else around the middle of the song.

Anyways, besides all that, I'm pretty happy with how this song came out. Any criticism is strongly appreciated.

Edit 8/31/18: Fixed some mastering issues, cut off the empty noise at the very end, changed intro and buildups a bit.
P.S. I'm very aware of many glaring problems with the mixing and mastering as a whole, but I'm not going to make any more edits. As of making this, I was mega proud; and for my skill level at the time I was right to feel that way. Now, not so much, but I'd like to keep this version as-is kinda like a museum to see my progress throughout the years. The song I'm working on right now is gonna be a bop, I'm sure of it

Stick around! :D

This one's gonna be on loop for a while.

Phenomenal job. This song was totally chilling to listen to. Every sound was right where it needed to be and your buildups took a perfectly good amount of time. It just sounded totally professional. Any complaint I would have would just be to add a little bit more bass in the background to fill up that bit of empty space, but it might just be your DAW acting up, I'm not sure. Keep up the great work!
