much developed version of the previous track

i have been listening to your music for about a year now and all i can say is wOWCHIES...this may be the best music on newgrounds. this is my favorite song by you but i love streekfreak and RIpMrM00g. you really know how to make a song relaxing and catchy at the same time. somtimes i just sit here with a joint and just chillll. i really like 1:10 through 1:27 on this one though...but shit...i like it all and the rap keep things fresh. can you post the lyrics for streetfreak?...and...keep on doin tha music makin thing? but seriously, you are a true artist and keep making music!

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

cheers buddy, glad u're enjoying my music, someone has to eh?

another oooooooh

you have been a busy boy aint ya? i like this track alot, that sax is very cool. what synth u using for that.

im actually prefering this to the other track, just has a warmth about it, and musically even tho there are 'bum' notes, theyre meant to be there. glitching is bang on.

production is sweet, tho about the 3rd phrase where its just the sax and gltich it seems comparitively loud. dunno why. the guitar is poor in quality on that bit, sounds like one of my old recordings from about 6 years ago. why so???

anyways mate, loved it, really did. 5/5 and bum sex.

i do have a couple of tracks up for reviewing whenever u get a mo. new one today called scarred too.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

glad u liked it... that sax is a sax, not a synth.
poor quality guitar, i don't think so, you must have shit in your ears;/

Yo ho and a bottle of FUNK

Yep, jazzy and sweet. While you've only been playing sax for "a couple of days" it's really not that apparent to me. I mean, it didn't sound too complex, but it sounded nice, really nice. I am a drummer though, and I have to say that rhythem was damn cool. It's really apparent to me that you have some serious talent my man. I can't really give you any mixing tips, but I didn't notice anything wrong, so no whining eh? Keep on keeping on man.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

funk me backwards.
yeh, my range on the sax is pretty limited at the minute, i'm getting a bit better as time goes on
thanks for listening

this is a good mix of jazz and dance, with an industrial beat. i can see why you put it in misc., it had an awesome blend of instruments.

5/5 for sure. the sax was cool, where did you get that sample? and yea, what program do you use? great percussion, i loved the beat, good mastering too. i think that it could use a little more diversity though. diversity is a broad word, i dont exactly mean vartiey, this song changed alot. i mean instrument wise. all the instruments you used were great, and i wante to use more of them! ah well, great song, good structure, nice blend = 5/5+download!
nice song man!

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

chars my man,
i know what you mean, i think the end section needs some real beefing, was quite lazy, just layered it up and hoped for the best.

2013 is a problem with a lot of these old tunes that I love in a lot of ways. they have a lot of naiveties like beats sticking too long without doing much or certain sections begging for development. pisses me off. the only way to salvage all this toot is to start from scratch.

Nice sax

I've been playing saxophone for about six years now, are these samples, or didya play it yourself?
I like this experiment, man.
There are just some slightly detuned sax samples in there, but it's fine.
I have always liked your composition skills, more than any artist here on newgrounds.
Great track man, only complaint is some detunings, but it works fine.

check my tunes out someday if you get the time.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

nice 1,
yeh, sax was a bit shoddy but i'd only been playing sax a couple of days so there.
will head over to your page when i get the leisure, fo sho
