I listened to the whole album, and this is by far the best on it imho
The softness of all the instruments makes it feel like a river thats constantly flowing. Then the reversed piano(?) comes in and its like it's swimming against the stream, putting in effort but not straining.
I get these visions of nature and harmony when listening to this song, and the following track on the album envy of alice too.
Really nice :D

Shye responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm happy you found this piece to be very natural, because I was worried incorporating all these elctronic sounds would lose the life and energy of real instrumentation. The analogy of the river is also really beautiful, and a different perspective on this piece which I really like :)

Now this is nice, it feels so timeless. Only thing that I seem to miss here is room, or separation. I would put reverb on the piano to separate it from the track because it feels too close together. At least for me it does :P Space gives a lot of feel to music. Very good overall :)

Shye responds:

Thanks! Usually I try to seperate the instrumentation in my music for that sense of space, but I wanted to try and bleed the sounds together in this one, to have the instruments seep into each other by reversing and lowering attack time everywhere. Maybe I overdid it, but cool you to see you enjoyed anyway :)
