Mate, im flattered. I love remixing tracks and it was nice seeing one of mine being done! We've all come along way, if I get the time - ill have a crack at one of yours! Much love.
Hey, long time no see NG community! Finally, something worth to upload here thanks to the inspiration that @Ditchy gave me with his song back in 2016, it was one of the best Trance songs I've ever listened in this website.
Go check the original song here: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/685563
I hope you all enjoy the original and the remix I've made!
Thanks for listening,

Thanks for checking this out man! Glad you liked the remix, it was a really fun experience trying to emulate your chords and melody and giving them a bit of my "uplifting touch". Thanks again for listening to it!

I love this song. It's got me swinging my head with how happy it sounds. The complaints down below are the only ones that I have for this song. The lead does sound drowned out at some points starting at 1:30, and some things could sound more popped out, but really that's it. Composition feels a bit weird, even if it's supposed to mirror the original. There's no real resolution, almost like it just repeats on itself instead of resolving to the first chord. Other than that, it's all good!

Old school vibe with a modern mix. I didn't feel the synth at 1:30 was drowned out, however it is conflicting with the arps in my ear; might need some frequency cutting. This makes it slightly grating on the mix side. I do feel that the melody isn't in the forefront, and it's fighting for the limelight. So there's a problem somewhere in there.
I don't have any qualms with the composition of the song. It's uplifting and energetic. It has more of a video gamey feel to me -- like the start of something. The bass has a phat tone that bites, what synth is that? :D
Thanks for your review! I'll have to take a look at the mix for that synth, it seems to be problematic with the mix and makes the arp stay behind through that uplifting part.
About the bass, it is a preset I made in Sylenth1 that I called Super Trance Bass, it has a special HP and LP build to fill the lower and higher frequencies making it easier to give a track a "solid" sound.
Thanks again for your review!
