In Many Ways

The flagship track of my new EP "In Many Ways." Out now FREE on Bandcamp!

This song had a short production time. I came up with it out of the blue and it caught my attention. I kept up at it and eventually finished it with a couple of weeks; which is annoying because I have projects that I started working on from 2016). I gave the track a sort of duality nature just like most of my other upcoming projects just to test the waters. I hope you guys enjoy!

pretty cool track

my only beef is the bass is too powerful - to the point that it drowns out a lot of the rest of the mix.. I am focusing on it too much compared to the rest of the song.

I think if you sorted your levels out a bit more this could be a perfect track :)

keep it up!

I actually lowered this bass down a bit more than the reference tracks I used because this track wasn't that type of track to use a heavy bass. I don't exactly know what frequencies of the bass you are focusing on but I kinda agree that there is a bit too much of the 100-200Hz range.

And I might have to disagree with it drowning the mix; the lowered bass gave a generous amount of headroom for the warm-ish instruments. Clarity was an issue at first but I just keep adjusting levels until I got the EQ balanced out according to the reference tracks.

I don't exactly know what you're listening from that makes this track reproduce that bass but it sounds fine from my end. But hey, maybe it could be a wrong genre mixture; that's what I get for having multiple styles in one track. Thanks for the review though :D

ah. some classic progressive house. I miss this sound a lot.

reminds me a lot of the old sound of anjunabeats/anjunadeep back in the mid 00's.

thanks for the memories. fav'd it!

Awesome track, beautiful groove that fits the deep bass you have. And the pad, amazing. Well done :)
