This is my 3rd entry to the "Elixir of immortality" collection. Tried to create something faster.

I wouldn't say that its my first ever attempt at DnB, but it is a first successful one at that. This one took waaay longer than i initially predicted, but i can say that it was the time worth spending. It was really fun to create this one. Usually, when projects drag on for longer than 1 month then i can get impatient and eventually lose any interest in the project. Luckily this wast the case with this one. Every time i sat down to work on it, i got something done and that does feel satisfying.

So i really hope you can find the satisfaction in it as well :)

Enjoy

I love this a lot! The atmosphere the track gives off is really cool. I assume that the purpose of this collection is to experiment with themes and atmospheres because each of the songs in it has their own unique atmosphere and sound they try to pull off (and they do it well.)

The buildup and "non-drop" parts sound great and I don't really have any issues with them, except that maybe some instruments clash.

During the drop, some of the basses, growls, etc could be touched up a bit. They should sound "wider" and have more sub-bass to them. They don't feel that deep and low and don't take up as much sound as I would think is necessary to pull DnB off. They also clash slightly with each other and it doesn't feel that clean or polished.

Other slight issues that I have:
~I maybe would have liked to hear 2 drops. The non-drop (i don't know what to call it at this point) takes up over half the song which makes it kind of boring. Making more of the song intense and cutting some of the sections shorter would maybe make it more exciting.
~As usual, some of the drums sound a little bit off. It's better than before, but with a theme like this, it might be better to use more atmospheric and realistic drums that resonate.

Hope this helps! This sounds great :)

Very good job here, I really love the orchestral feel to the whole thing! Kind reminds me of an artist called 'Miyolophone', if you've ever heard of him (he has a really good song called Mandragora), and I'm a really big fan of it. I feel like both during the dubstep drop, and the Drum n bass drop that the basses need sidechained so that the drums are easier to hear (like during the drum and bass drop, I can't hear the kick very much at all.) Speaking of the dubstep drop, though, those basses: Absolutely fantastic, very Xtrullor-esque. That, and the pause with the 808 was pure y e s. That's all! Really nice work!

Thanks for the response :)

I do agree that some sidechain could make it more clear. Looking back there are many things i'd want to fix now which i couldn't think of back then. But since i just now moved on to a new PC then fixing could get way too troublesome. Y'know, moving data is bo...ng ....nd ....working ......n .....new ......(blah-blah-blah)

I know i got carried away, but still glad for the feedback :)

Very good track! Well, that snare sounds "non-conventional" but it may be just my taste, excellent track again.

I do find satisfaction in it.

This is really expertly mixed. The only recommendation is for better sound design. That snare doesn't really fit. Neither does the little arpy things. They aren't string-y enough. MAybe a gradual transition between sounds would help with that.

The only other thing is the drop- it feels out of place. The bass is wierd to me. MAybe a lil EQ on the high end, and a higher cutoff. The little pause with the 808 is really cool, though.

Overall good job.
